Schedule of Events

 

7:00 Ð 9:30 AM          Pancake Breakfast at American Legion Hall on Mechanic St.

                                    Tickets are available at the door.

9:00 Ð 9:30 AM          Parade assembles at 132 Central St.

10:00 AM                   Parade starts at 132 Central St., toward Common, to Mechanic St., Railroad Ave., Bird St. around the Common to South St., ending at the Booth Playground.

11:30 AM till?            Activities at Booth Playground

Non-profit organizations provide food, games, raffles, crafts and other activities on the field.

11:30 Ð 12:30 PM       FOG performs on the main stage courtesy of Foxboro Cable Access (FCA)

12:30 Ð 1:00 PM         Rex Trailer performs on the main stage courtesy of FCA

12:30 Ð 1:00 PM         Registration for Doll Carriage Parade

                                    Note:  In case of inclement weather the Doll Carriage Parade will be moved indoors to the American Legion Hall on Mechanic St.

1:00 PM                      Doll Carriage Parade in the Hyland Rink

2:00 Ð 2:30 PM           Rex Trailer performs on the main stage courtesy of FCA

2:30 Ð 3:30 PM           FOG performs on the main stage courtesy of FCA

3:00 Ð 4:00 PM           Henry the Juggler (near the Stage)

7:00 Ð 9:00 PM           Entertainment by Electric Youth sponsored by Invensys Foxboro

8:00 Ð 8:15 PM           Raffle Drawings Ð Winners announced

9:00 Ð 9:30 PM           Fireworks begin!!

PLEASE DO:  Bring Lawn chairs, blankets and sunscreen

PLEASE DO:  Drop off Doll Carriage Parade participants close to tennis courts at the Booth Playground (in case of rain, the Doll Carriage Parade will be held indoors at the American Legion Post on Mechanic St)

  PLEASE DO:    ENJOY THE DAY AND HAVE FUN!!!

PLEASE DO NOT:  Ride bicycles on the Field

PLEASE DO NOT: Bring squirt guns or silly string to any Founders Day event

PLEASE DO NOT: Park on private property (including local church lots) without permission.

PLEASE DO NOT: Park in restricted areas (e.g., blocking fire lanes, driveways, fire hydrants or handicapped parking)

First aid is available at the Founders Day field headquarters near to the stage.
